Jason and Julia {maternity}

Babies, babies everywhere!

This session was sooooo much fun. Julia and Jason are so laid back, go-with-the-flow and just plain sweet. I totally felt their love for each other AND for that baby boy of theirs.

I am excited about watching another little man grow up in front of my camera over the next year - and with parents that good looking you know he's going to be a cutie!

Daley {year-in-review}

I met this gorgeous family last year when little Miss Daley was born. She has since completed her newborn, 6 month and 1 year sessions with me. I loooooove watching these babies grow in front of my lens. Especially because I somehow luck out and get all the cute ones :-)

Bria {seven}

I met this charismatic, adorable little blonde girl when she came to have me capture her 5th birthday photos. That was over 2 years ago. Since then I have photographed her 6th and 7th birthday milestone photos and she just keeps getting cuter!

Here is a 5, 6, and 7 year old comparison <3

Sawyer {newborn}

I have spent so much time with this family over the past couple of years. I started photographing big sister Ivy when she was in her momma's belly. After she was born I spent time with her (and mom and dad!) every three months until she was a year old, then a few times a year after that. Then, much to my happiness, I got word of little brother being on the way. I cannot wait to spend another year photographing this sweet boy, his big sister and the amazing mom and dad they bring along :-)

Liana {newborn}

I absolutely adore this family. I have watched big sister, Lilian, grow up in front of my camera with numerous sessions throughout the past few years. So you can imagine how excited I was to learn about Baby #2!  Liana is just the sweetest little thing who has a striking resemblance to her big sister. She was a breeze to photograph and she has proven to be just as photogenic as the rest of her family.

Sawyer Emjae's Birth Story

I was so incredibly honored that the Robb family chose ME to document the beginning of a new life - their daughter Sawyer's.

When Steph called me and said they were going to be induced on their due date I was very relieved (if you know me, I am a planner and tend to stress out with last minute things). So, at this point I knew I was going to be heading to the hospital on Friday August 17th to document the birth.

Well, 3 days before her due date, on Tuesday the 14th, Steph called and said she was being sent to the hospital because her contractions seemed to be getting stronger. Ok, now I am stressing. I got another call, a few hours later and was told Steph was being released to progress her labor at home. Ok, breathe again!

So Friday rolls around. It's 2pm and Steph sends me a text message letting me know she is about 3cm dilated and just got her epidural. I am thinking I wouldn't need to head up to the hospital until about 8pm or so that evening so I started running some errands. Less than an hour later (around 3pm) I get another call letting me know she is now at an 8. AN EIGHT! How on earth does that even happen? So now I am in panic mode as I need to rearrange my whole evening's plans and work around childcare, etc.

I get to the hospital within 15 minutes (not really even sure how I got there that quickly) and Steph was very quickly fully dilated. We just had to wait for the little lady to descend a little bit more before she could begin pushing.

The whole delivery process was so calm and quiet - Steph had a smile on her face the whole time and claimed to have been in no pain. It was soooo peaceful and amazing.

As you can see from the video story below, Sawyer is surrounded by so many people that love and cherish her. She has an amazing mommy, daddy and big brother Noah in addition to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends!

Aerial's Bridals

The photos speak for themselves. Aerial was gorgeous in her wedding gown! She asked me to create some bridal portraits for her so that she didn't have to feel rushed to do these on her wedding day. I love every single one!
