Lilian Marie {Newborn}

Lilian started out as a fighter but the minute her momma got her into a deep sleep she was sooo peaceful and easy to photograph! Her parents are extremely laid back and for being first time parents they know EXACTLY what they are doing! There is so much love that fills this little girl's life!

I had a certain pose in my head for this set up but every single time I tried to put her in the intended pose she was NOT having it. That's ok, I found something she did like - to be all squished up in the basket this way:

Since she insisted on being awake for a big chunk of the session, I figured I would give in to her and capture some photos of her with her eyes open! For being less than 2 weeks old she was soooooo alert; and just content with being awake!

Once we got her to sleep we flew through the session :-)

Ivy {9 Months}

Oh, Ivy. I could photograph you all day long! Although it doesn't seem possible, this little lady gets more and more beautiful each time I see her. I cannot believe how quickly she made it to 9 months! She is such a sweetheart and very curious about everything! She knows what she wants and isn't afraid of letting you know if you are disturbing her plans!

She brought along her mommy and daddy and hammed it up for an updated family photo.

I quickly learned that Ivy doesn't like grass (not even the fake stuff!)

Ivy's Easter basket and some eggs that she brought to her session!

Showing off her two teeth...she is so proud!

Ava is ONE!

The first time I got to meet Ava was when she was one year old. She is an absolutely gorgeous little girl and I felt so honored to be the one to photograph her first birthday photos! She is way too cute in the outfits that her momma brought for her. And let's face it - she is one of the BEST cake-smashers I have ever seen!

Willy is ONE!

Willy was photographed by me last when he was a Newborn. It is unbelievable that an entire year has flown by! He is now one and definitely not camera shy.

He was a man on the move...and liked showing off his new trick - how to point at things.

What kid doesn't like clapping?!

He eventually started to get a little mad that we were making him do so many photos; I can't blame him, it was freezing outside!

Wrapped up with daddy, trying to warm up for a minute.

He was such a sport. Even though he was cold he managed to squeeze one little smile out before we called the session.

I just went to link to Willy's newborn session and realized that I never blogged about it! Willy was my very first session EVER (as an official business). So here are some images from that session:
