Perez Family {September 2011}

This is the second time I have had the joy of photographing the Perez girls. They came to visit me when Mayzlin was just a newborn, Myla 18 months old. And already Mayzlin is 6 months old and Myla is 2 - so hard to believe! Here is their first session.

Despite the yucky hot weather and the nasty mosquitoes, these two beauties did AWESOME! They brought their momma and dadda this time, and WHEW what a photogenic family!
Dad, Rudy was one of the most cooperative daddies I have ever met. He is soooo good to his little girls! And Miranda, the momma, is just head over heels in love with her daughters. She was all about letting them be "them" - and their carefreeness (I like to make up words) just shone (not sure if that's the proper use of that word)!

So here's little Miss Mayzlin. Who wouldn't want to pinch those cheeks?
And like her momma said...yellow is definitely her color!

And then there is Myla. She was cracking me up. She almost wanted nothing to do with pictures when her mom and dad were around. But they walked away and she was flashing the BIGGEST smiles of the night!

Total diva, striking her own poses!

Then we got some of the sweetest sibling photos:

Miss Mack! {18 Months}

I have known Mackayla since she was a newborn. I take that back, I have known Mackayla since she was inside her momma's belly!

Mackayla (and her mommy and daddy) came to me for her one-year photos / cakesmash session. She was hilarious. She seriously cried after EVERY outfit change. But calmed down shortly after and gave me some great photos.

Fast forward 6 months and Mackayla (now 18 months old) was like my best friend! She held my hand, let me carry her, gave me HUGE cheese smiles and probably would have let me photograph her all night long!

I was super excited when I was asked to do these photos on their old family farm. It was a great change of scenery AND sooo much fun!

 We photographed near the barn, the old farm house, the silo, inside the cattle barn and at the corn field.

I must say I was beyond impressed by how many "farm" terms Mackayla knows. She definitely has me beat on that vocabulary! She is one amazingly smart, beautiful little girl!

Morgan {Newborn}

Little Morgan came to me to be a model for some newborn hats and items from For Your Child & Mine "Boutique".

She was as sweet as can be - and once we got her to sleep, she gave us the most adorable little poses!

Adam & Aerial {Engaged}

What a fun session! Not only are the a great-looking couple, but they are such a fun couple! Totally made for each other. Now, Adam and I go way back - like college years. And when I found out he was engaged I was in complete shock. I really thought Adam Frank would never find a girl who could put up with his hyperactivity and excessive rants. But he did. Another friend that I have known for quite a few years, Aerial.

Adam and Aerial were open to shooting in the alleyways of Bowling Green. I loved it - it took me out of the parks that most families prefer and gave me a chance to explore some of my creativity.

I love the mural they took me to. The mural depicts different landmarks in Bowling Green. What a unique way to celebrate an engagement - in front of a representation of the place where you were brought together! The artist who painted this mural actually happened to walk up and introduce himself during the photo shoot. That doesn't happen every day!

The entire session was so amazing. They are two amazing clients. Their love for one another was just radiating and I couldn't help but smile along with them (well, that and the fact that Adam just never stopped ranting about random things).
 I can't wait to celebrate their wedding day with them! They are going to be STUNNING and the wedding is going to absolutely fabulous!
